Call 911 and Remember: The Edmonton Firefighters Memorial takes place each year on September 11, 2024. This annual event honours the firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty and coincides with the anniversary of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001.

In Edmonton, groups rallying without permits for antiwar protests can inadvertently harm their cause by fostering public and administrative backlash, whereas engaging in permitted, peaceful protests or alternative forms like art installations can effectively convey their message with broader acceptance and less conflict.
